Rainy day cure for dog odor... Next time your dog comes in from the rain,
simply wipe down the animal with Bounce or any dryer sheet, instantly making
your dog smell springtime fresh.

Local scenes,

I am a big fan of regionalism, and as such of local scenes. Regionalism, as I define it, is the opposite of globalization, social globalization especially. Regional scenes allow small cultural trends to grow and develop independently of the larger world. In an era of ever present media and cultural wide shifts in trends and culture, small regional cultural practices can be a pleasant relief.

I have had the opportunity this year to explore a number of smaller cultural scenes, explore their rituals and meet many interesting people through them. It is encouraging to meet other like minded people and to know that human nature and its diversity can thrive in a sea of media sameness.

DRUMS DRUMS DURMS!!

Life is so great, I have been manifesting and working towards a way that will support me in my goal of modern nomadicism, something less structured than a job to job lifestyle. Something that would allow me to get right into the communities that I want to reach and touch, right to the people who have the stories I am looking for. A number of things have entered my psyche, a few things I know well and a few with huge learning curves, but nothing which completly fit my personality.

This week while doing some tracking of parts for this bus project i'm working on, I stumbled upon the most amazing thing, a whole room in a wharehouse chock full of drums, high quality africanhandrums to boot. The owner of these drums, a really nice guy, was unable to move them by himself, not being a drummer, and lacking any real contacts in the drumming community - which is where I come in, being completley tied into that community, and actively searching out other communities of the same.

So that being said - anyone looking for a really stellar drum? High quality Djembes, from Ghana, Nice carvings on all, with different styles, prices depend on size, but I am selling for 350-400 dollars, which is below retail everywhere I have looked. Interested? email me at coyotesight@hotmail.com

when i'm on, i'm on but when i'm off....

Well that seems to be the best way to describe me, On, or Off. It goes beyond mood swings or attitude, I imagine somebody with letters behind their name might try to class this as some form of bipolar or manic depressiveness - But I just call it ON/OFF.

I was ON a couple weeks ago, and man was I a sight to behold, I was simply amazing, manifesting shit all over the place, making friends wherever I went. I was tripping around the city (Vancouver) meeting all kinds of people, from all walks of life. Creating money, community, literally making friends and influencing people. In one memorable day, I had lunch with one of Canada's top chemists, hung out with some wickedly creative freeqs in the park, did some dancing, made some music, and ended the night doing an informal interview and sharing a bottle with some homeless dudes. When I'm ON the whole world is my playground, and everyone is my friend.

But when I'm OFF, goddamn, just leave me the Fuck alone, I don't want to talk to anybody, do anything, I just want' to curl up and sleep, or get drunk and miserable, or violently angry. This is beyond introspection, beyond personal space, this is downright Anti Social. With Capital letters!!

Luckly these OFF sessions dont' last very long anymore, I have experiance with depression, and have the ablility to end it - when I feel like it, I know it's dangerous to let myself get wrapped up in my bad moods, 'cause they CAN take over my life.

Yesterday was an OFF day, couldn't get anything done for the life of me (though I actually did get some shit done) and was tired and miserable all day.

I don't know if i can make today an ON day, but I'm on my way back up.

And here are a group of government folks who think they know better than 70 percent of the population! If some evil one were threatning your child would you not get angry?! Angry with Love?! So angry with love that you would go to no ends to protect them... Well that day is here! This is not a law soley directed at us, but one directed at our children, our parents, our grandparents, aunties, uncles, grandchildren!! This is a law against YOUR FAMILY!!! Yes your family, your mum, your dad, your brother and childen!!! This is a restriction of rights! Which as so many immigrants can tell you that is the most important thing!! THIS Revoulution will be fought and won with Love but we have to focus this love with such intensity that we burn the illness out of our society! Because in fact that evil one is here, it is everywhere, but nowhere is it stronger than when our rights are being stepped on. Remeber Womens rights and the fought they still fight! Remember the Struggle for equality so many people of all races and cultures have fought and are still fighing daily! Rights are something worth fighting for, worth loving for!! There is nobody else to take care of this, there are no govenment programs to protect us from themselves, nobody else can or will.

Canadian Rights And Freedoms Are At Risk
An Important Notice Regarding Bill C-51

On April 8th, 2008, the Canadian Minister of Health introduced Bill C-51 into the House of Commons. This Bill proposes significant changes to the current Food and Drugs Act that will have wide-ranging negative implications for Canadians.

Bill C-51 will:

· Remove democratic oversight, bypassing elected officials to vote in laws and allow bureaucrats to adopt laws from other countries without our consent.

· Remove 70% of Natural Health Products from Canadians and many others will be available by prescription only.

· Restrict research and development of safe natural alternatives in favor of high risk drugs.

· Punish Canadians with little or no opportunity for protection or recourse for simply speaking about or giving a natural product without the approval of government. More than 70% of people in Canada use a Natural Health Product. The new law goes so far as to warrant action against a person who would give another person an 'unapproved' amount of garlic on the recommendation that it would improve that person's health.

Proposed New Enforcement Powers:

· Inspectors will enter private property without a warrant

· Inspectors will take your property at their discretion

· Inspectors will dispose of your property at will

· Inspectors will not reimburse you for your losses

· Inspectors will seize your bank accounts

· Inspectors will charge owners shipping and storage charges for seized property

· Inspectors will be empowered to store your property indefinitely

· Inspectors will levy fines of up to $5,000,000.00 and/or seek 2 years in jail per incident

With your assets and money under their control will you be able to defend yourself in Court?

Example

In 2003 Health Canada launched an attack on a group of mentally ill patients and the company who supported them naturally. They seized shipments of a safe natural therapy required by the patients and stormed the support center with 17 armed officers and agents. The company (Truehope) reported that they lost contact with more than 300 of their Canadian participants. The Canadian Mental Health Association told of suicides as a result of government action.



Health Canada then charged the not for profit company, burdening them with heavy legal costs. Truehope was found innocent by necessity and instructed by the judge to continue under legal and moral responsibility. Although the agents admitted knowing they were injuring people through their actions, they stated under oath they care only about policy and directive. And what happened to the more than 300 mentally ill Canadians that became unreachable? In the months and years following, reports of hospitalizations and suicides during the seizures have surfaced. No Health Canada agent has ever been charged.
